| How do I download handouts and audio files for later use? |
|
1) Right click on the link. If you use a Mac or a trackpad, hold the control key while clicking. 2) Select "Save link as" or "save target as," whichever choice your computer gives you. 3) Don't just drop it into the first window that pops up because it will be difficult to find it again. Instead, click the browse button until you find a place you'll be able to find it, either on the desktop or in a folder for this training program or something like that. You probably will want to create a new folder. That icon usually pictures a folder with little rays coming out, as if it is "sparkling new." Check to be sure it's working. After you download the files for the audio and handouts, you can return to that folder whenever you want and listen to the audio and view the handouts. And if you want to import the audio files into your ipod, continue these instructions: 5) Go to the place you saved the audio file. You don't have to open the file. Just get to it. 6) Click and drag it into itunes. Or if your itunes is older, import it into itunes. 7) Now it's there. But can you find it? Click "music" under "library." Look for the "date added" column at the far right. If you can't see "date added" scroll the bottom scroll bar to the right until it shows. Click "date added" and all your itunes files will be sorted chronologically. This file you just added will be at the top. Hopefully you know how to get it from there to your ipod!
